Summer REU Program

Our lab has participated in the REU program for the past two summers; giving three undergraduate students from around the country the opportunity to learn about synchronization-modulation and its applications.

Next Summer

If you are an awesome undergraduate student in the biological or physical sciences looking for something exciting and worthwile to do next summer, you should consider applying for an REU position with our laboratory.

Summer of 2018

We welcomed one student from Florida, David Durosier, who helpped us with studying muscle fatigue.

Summer of 2017

We welcomed one student Alexus Willis, who helpped us with studying muscle fatigue on isolated muscle fibers.

Summer of 2016

We welcomed one student from Georgia Anjelica Fenton, who helpped us with studying SM applied to muscle fibers with the TEVC.

Summer of 2012

We were privaleged to host Matthew Bovyn from Arizona and Olivia Lanes from Pennsylvania last summer. They helped to get the ball rolling on the application of synchronization-modulation to muscle fatigue.

Summer of 2011

We welcomed one student from Massachusetts, Max, who helpped us with a set of patch clamp experiments.
